Try these great ideas for Aunt Bee'z Toppin' Sauces and Special Toppin' Sauces
Aunt Bee'z all natural fruit sauces are great poured over pancakes, waffles, bagels, biscuits, ice cream, pound cake and more, but try these great ideas, too!
1. Mix with frozen whipped topping to create a yummy dip for cookies or sweet pita chips.
2. Add to milkshakes, smoothies or even plain milk.
3. Create a glaze for gilled meats - add 1 tablespoon of oil to 1/4 cup of toppin' sauce and brush over grilled meats.
4. Create a sweet salad dressing - mix 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of cider vinegar and 3 tablespoons of toppin' sauce. Pour over mixed greens and top with meats and cheeses or fresh fruit for a delicious salad.

Ma-Maw's 'Nana Puddin'

The classic custard sauce, used for traditional southern banana pudding, also makes other treats, too:
1. Use canned pineapple chunks in the place of bananas -- "pineapple pudding."
2. the filling for a quick "Boston Cream Pie" - Make the (Nana' Puddin') sauce as directed and cool slightly. Split a cake layer (or a purchased pound cake) and spread the sauce over the bottom layer; replace the top layer of cake and pour on a chocolate (fudge) sauce. (Hint: try Aunt Bee'z Chocolate Gravy Mix!)
3. a quick coconut cream pie - Make the (Nana' Puddin') sauce as directed, stir in frozen or canned coconut. Pour the custard and coconut mixture into a baked pie shell and chill for at least 1 hour. Top with whipped cream and enjoy!
4. a quick English "trifle" - Cut a pound cake into cubes and spread in the bottom of a large glass bowl. Cover the cake cubes with the cooked (Nana' Buddin') sauce. Pie Sauce -
These all natural fruit sauces are extra thick and
made for creating quick, tasty treats:
Upside down cobbler:Try this simple way to create a dessert with lots of "wow"
Using one pre-made pie crust, unroll the crust on a flat baking sheet. Use a fork to prick the dough. Bake according to package directions. Cool. Spoon on a layer of Aunt Bee'z Fruit Pie Sauce, Add a layer of sliced fresh fruit and top with another layer of sauce. Decorate with whipped cream. |
Brunch Cake:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and thoroughly grease a bundt pan. Measure out 2 tablespoons of Aunt Bee'z Fruit Pie Sauce and set aside. In a large bowl, mix 1 box cake mix (yellow or vanilla flavors work best), 3 eggs and the remaining jar of Aunt Bee'z Fruit Pie Sauce. Mix well for 1-2 minutes. Pour into the prepared pan and bake for about 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center pulls out cleanly. When cool, pour on the glaze.
Glaze: Mix the 2 tablespoons of Pie Sauce that were set aside with 1/4 cup of powdered sugar and drizzle over the cake.

Real "Pizza Pie":

Use one roll of refrigerated sugar cookie dough. Slice dough thinly and cover the bottom of a round pizza pan. Press dough slices together to form a solid (but slightly thin) crust. Bake according to package directions until lightly browned.
Cool cookie crust and then spoon on a 1/2 inch layer of Aunt Bee'z Fruit Pie Sauce. Decorate with coconut for the "cheese" and chocolate bits. Thin slices of strawberries can be used for "pepperoni." Use your imagination!
